Okay, putting a smile on Calvin's face isn't quite as hard as the other achievements listed above. Basically just tell him Joel is going away for a few days and he can play with his own toys for once!

But the achievements of Uganda Lodge Community Projects have done so much more than putting a passing smile, however genuine, on the faces of children and young people; for those achievements have left and continue to leave an indelible imprint on those young people's lives ~ providing education, clean water, health care and opportunities for a better future. You have made that difference.

Over the past few years so much has been achieved and so much of it has been down to the hard work of Ann, Denis and so many volunteers. But hard work alone isn't enough to keep the children at school, pay the teaching and other staff and help develop projects such as the water well, health clinic, resource centre and proposed school hall so children at the school can gather under shelter and be protected from the elements when they eat and socialise.

In order to help achieve these goals we need a steady source of income. Its great so many of you sponsor children at the school, fundraise and help in so many other ways. Now we are asking that you become a  member of Uganda Lodge.

Its not going to cost the earth, just £10.00 a year, but with hundreds of people joining up at £10 each we know what income we have coming in and can help plan more effectively and securely for the future. Becoming a member is so easy. Just follow the three simple steps on your right and help secure the brighter future of children at the project. Thank-you.
